Mobs from spawners have no AI to increase server performance. Farms that use water or other methods to manually move mobs will still work, so you may need to choose a design that uses this method.

Our Answer:

Short answer is no.

We may choose to wipe the map every few major updates, but the old map will be left online for a while after generating the new map so players have a chance to transfer their items/bases to the new map.

Why does my nether portal not take me back to the overworld?

Can you silktouch spawners?
Our Answer:

No. Naturally generated spawners can not be picked up or moved from their original location. For purchased spawners, the owner of the spawner is free to place and break it. Silktouch is not required for purchased spawners, any pickaxe will work.

What is the server seed?
Our Answer:

We don’t share this information. Our worlds usually last us a year or two so not sharing our server seed keeps us from running out of non-renewable resources (like villages, sea temples, and mobs that don’t respawn) for as long as possible.

Can people open unlocked chests in my land?

No, the general public will not be able to open unlocked chests inside your claimed land.

You can allow someone to open chests by giving them a role in your land that has the "open containers" action flag enabled.

How can i see what permissions someone has in my land?

Inside your land menu, you can check a player’s role in the “Trusted Players” menu. (Players not listed here are "Visitors")

Then you can look at what permissions that role has by going into “Roles,” selecting the role you want to look at, and opening “Action Flags”.

What are land areas?
Our Answer:

Land areas are custom sized subsections inside your land with their own set of settings. This allows you to give or take away people's permissions in only portions of your land.

To create a land area, first open your lands interface, navigate to your land, and open the “Areas” menu. Press the green “Create Area” button. Next enter the command “/l Selection” to define the area for your land. Right click one corner and left click the opposite corner with the land selection tool. Lastly, enter the command “/l Assign <Area Name>”

How long does a player have to be inactive for their land to be unclaimed?

You can only have one “owner” in a land but if you create or modify a land role so it has all the “action flags” and “management flags” enabled, anyone who you give that modified role to will have full control over the land as well.

How do i add people to my chest locks?

First right click the sign to select it. Then enter /lock <next open line number> <user> (when adding the first extra player to the sign, the line number will be 3).

What is the arena for?
Our Answer:

The arena is for players to pvp fairly without having to worry about any lost valuables like gear or weapons. MCMMO stats which would normally affect pvp have been disabled here and gear will not take durability losses.

Keepinventory is on for everyone inside the arena. Your items will not drop when you die.

If you die in the arena there's a chance for your player head to drop at your death location.
